Rain as an Event

Rain carries unusual weight in Southern California.

The first meaningful rain after a dry period often shows more than it resolves.

These observations matter because rain exposes relationships that ordinary watering may not reveal.

Yet a single storm does not define the season. Rainfall may arrive early or late. A promising beginning may be followed by another long dry period. The condition of the ground before the rain influences what happens after it.

Rain is therefore both nourishment and evidence. The answers belong to the individual property, not to the weather report alone.
